Manicure 15 is Fashionista by Revlon. It is a dusty blue teal. A very nice shade. It is not a bold hue of blue. I like it very much. Can’t say I own a lot of Revlon product lately. Here is a more detail revue by Polish and Prose.

Manicure 16 is another creative messy manicure. It is truly the result of running out of time and not choosing the manicure with thought. It is a redux of some Orly colors with a splash of Zoya. ‘Nuf said. I must do better.

Diet Coke has collaborated with Diane Von Furstenburg to produce a limited edition, the aluminum bottles are clad with signature prints in red and black. They are $30 for a set of four. Proceeds go to the National Foundation of Institutes of Health, Heart Truth research. I think they are fabulous. So nice to see someone doing great things with their celebrity status.

It is high Mardi GRAS time. Time to think of beads, parades, gumbo and definitely beignets.
“If your mind isn’t clouded by unnecessary things, then this is the best season of your life.”—Wu-Men

It seems the future of fashion is one of involvement.

I love this statement. It is so true…
“Don’t look for your voice too hard. You won’t find it. You’ll have to be quiet. You have to listen for it. Just keep shooting and, over time, it will find you. You’ll be drawn towards that which you like and that which speaks to you. When you start to over-think it, that’s when the confusion and anxiety sets in. Have fun and don’t let anyone tell you that you are doing ‘it’ wrong. There is no right or wrong. It’s simply what works for you.“ Paul Lester Photo
I think I am finding that voice. I like small things. I like parts of the scene more often than the entire scene. I like people not posed. I am finding that voice.
…”the digital age removes us from tactile, hands-on work, and there’s a longing to get back to that.” Collier is the stately star of a delightful short documentary about letterpress called “Upside Down, Left to Right”

The manicure is from the Sally Hansen Salon Manicure holiday set named Haute Collection. It was a special containing Pat on the Black, Commander in chic and Clear’d for Takeoff. This is the Black which is more of an inky grape. I tried to do some thin stripes with Commander in Chic. The color is very similar to Sephora Metro Chic. It didn’t go well. There was tape all over the place and no discernable design. Not the best. #14
