“It’s more interesting to have just a picture of a small detail – then you can dream all the rest around it.
Because when you see the whole thing, what is there to imagine?” -Dries Van Noten

Isn’t She Lovely
I received the most lovely gift recently. My daughter knows I collect Starbucks city mugs as I travel. This is a new one I have never seen. It is different from my current New York mug.
The mug is bone china. Special, uh! It has a city scape relief and special little emblems for a NY taxi and Starbucks logo. Just mot my ordinary mug.
It is special. Thank you, daughter.
Zoya Yara and Marina
Now it is not so much about new polishes as combinations of the polishes I already own. Working from existing stash, I chose Yara and Marina by Zoya as a combo using little round reinforcements for layering color. The idea looked nice and subtle. It turned out to be just a bit too subtle. Not bad, but could have been more exciting. This is #23 of 52 Manicures in a year. I need to get in gear.
Roll Down the Window
OPI Touring America Uh-oh Roll Down the Window is an ugly looking Army green. Very olive with a touch of yellow. Love it. I love olive green. I was torn between that and Essie’s Sew Psyched. It is a dusty green but not quite as olive. Roll Down the Window was the newest to me, so I went with that. I still love Sew Psyched.
This is manicure #22
